Prof. Zekeriya Aktürk, qualified his MD in the Marmara University, Istanbul following which he specialized in Family Medicine. He continued his education in Academic development and completed a certified acupuncture course. He served as a Physician in Turkey for several years after which he started to teach in the Atatürk University under the Department of Family Medicine. He has lead several medical groups and has been a part of councils of the University. He has contributed to the advancement of education in many ways. He has published 45 papers in the Medical field. He is a member of major associations like American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP)?, European Academy of Teachers of Family Medicine (EURACT)?, Association of the School of Family Medicine, Turkish Association of Family Physicians, European Association for Quality in GP/FM (EQuiP) and more.
